Holidays to Antarctica

During the summer fleeting, inhospitable region plays an important role in some of the greatest natural spectacles on earth. Millions of pairs of penguins, albatrosses, petrels and other seabirds breed in the region, five species of seals are regularly seen hoisted on the ice, seals, humpback and minke whales are often feeding on the boards rich oceans, adding to the impressive list of marine mammals. In summer the climate is often surprisingly mild, with temperatures above zero and the long hours of daylight means that it is possible to observe wild animals almost every time.
